  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius. Grease cookie trays.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, sugar and vanilla with an electric mixer.
  3. Add egg and mix thoroughly.
  4. Add flour and mix thoroughly.
  5. Add chocolate chunks.
  6. Break off pieces of dough roughly the size of a 50 cent piece and roll into balls. Lay balls out on greased baking tray, then press balls flat with a fork.
  7. Cook in oven for 10-12 minutes. Swap levels after 6 mins so bases don’t burn.
